ETA English Class Learning Ohio Food Making Menus Fun  外師英語課暢遊俄亥俄美食文化動手做菜單

On November 6, 2025, the English class with our ETA (English Teaching Assistant) was full of fun! The ETA started by asking the children to share the food people often eat in their hometowns. Everyone listened happily and learned more about Ohio.

Next, the kids learned many new English words related to the ETA's hometown food: Mac & cheese, Fried chicken, Curry, Sloppy Joe, Casserole, and Ice cream. With pictures to help, the students listened and spoke along, making the learning atmosphere very lively!

The most exciting part was the hands-on activity: "Making Your Own Food Menu"! The children used their imaginations and had a wonderful time creating their menus. This lesson helped students gain knowledge and feel the joy of food. Learning through playing can be so much fun!

2025年11月6日，ETA外師的英文課堂很熱鬧！外師先帶著孩子們說說自己家鄉常常會吃的食物，大家都聽得津津有味、笑聲不斷，同時對 Ohio-俄亥俄州這個地方，也有了更深的認識。

接著進入英文小學堂，孩子們學會了好多和外師家鄉食物有關的單字：Mac & cheese (起司通心麵)、Fried chicken (炸雞)、Curry (咖哩)、Sloppy Joe (肉醬三明治)、casserole (焗烤料理)、ice cream (冰淇淋)。每個單字都搭配圖片，小朋友們邊聽邊跟著說，學習氣氛非常熱烈！

最精彩的就是動手做的活動—「製作自己的料理菜單」！孩子們親手操作，發揮自己的想像力，現場歡樂聲此起彼落，玩得不亦樂乎！這堂課，不只讓孩子們收穫了知識，更感受到食物料理的歡樂氛圍～邊學邊玩，學習也可以這麼有趣！

A New Shelter for Our Students 遮風避雨，守護孩子安心成長

On September 25, 2025, a construction team came to our school to build a new covered shelter. This project was made possible by the kind support of Ande Temple Mazu.

Thanks to this new shelter, our students can now wash their hands without getting wet on rainy days. We are so grateful for the temple's care and generosity. It reminds us that our community is full of warmth and support, inspiring us to keep working hard for our students.

2025年9月25日，承蒙安德宮媽祖的庇佑與支持，廠商進入校園展開施工，為我們的學生建造遮雨棚。

這份媽祖的愛不僅體現在經費補助上，更深深植根於我們的心中。未來，孩子們在雨天洗手時，將不再被雨淋濕，能在一個更安全的環境中快樂成長。這份來自社會的溫暖關懷，也激勵著我們持續努力，培育下一代。

Club Time: A Week of Fun and Learning!  社團時間到！週週都精彩！

The 3 PM bell is the best sound of the day at Yuanchyuan Elementary School—it means club time has started! Every week, our students get to join a variety of clubs.

These activities are a fun way to learn new things, make friends, and discover new hobbies. We are so thankful to all the teachers who make these amazing clubs possible and help our students create great memories.
